Statement Of Purpose

Each one of our homes is regulated by Ofsted and each home has what is known as a ‘Statement of Purpose’. The Children’s Homes Regulations 2001 (Regulation 4(2A)) states: Where a children’s home has a website the registered person shall ensure that a copy of the statement of purpose is published on that website unless the registered person considers that such publication would prejudice the welfare of the children cared for in the children’s home.

Inspire Childrens Services support extremely vulnerable children. Due to concerns of Child Sexual Exploitation and restrictions around contact we do not publish the addresses of our homes. Currently we are of the opinion that publishing the Statement of Purpose would be prejudicial to the welfare of our children. However, you can click on the link below to view an generic Inspire Statement of Purpose.

As we wish to be as transparent as possible and we are happy to discuss this on an individual basis with our customers, social care professionals and members of the public.
